Camp Epworth 2014

Don't look down!

An amazing time was had by all on our Year 7/8 camp. We were blessed with outstanding weather, keen and resilient students and an outstanding group of parent helpers. It was pleasing to see our camp objectives of students developing interpersonal skills, building positive relationships, risk taking and applying the SAS values in differing contexts achieved. My personal highlight was seeing the students taking on the high ropes challenge. Like the students the staff were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones also. Whilst I put on a brave face it was fair to say that doing the upside down sloth routine on the high beam was a struggle.I think the bruising on my knees was due to them knocking together so hard!!!
